Hi. I'm new to the whole backup thing. I've tried to burn Fifa2k5 using instructions from various threads using the dvd decryptor. When i try to boot up the game(my Ps2 is chipped),in the browser the disc icon comes up and says Playstation 2 disc in the top right hand corner of the screen but when i select it it appears to start booting up but then returns to the browser seconds later. Could someone please tell me where i might be going wrong. Thanks.

That could be just a bad burn. (happened to me before) Or try to turn on ur ps2 with the game already inside.
What media, speed did u use??

I used a TDK dvdr- disc at a writing speed of 1x. The same thing happened when i tried to burn gta:san andreas. could it be my modchip thats at fault.
