can swap magic play ntsc games on pal ps2 in colour?

Hi,
i was just wondering whether swap magic can play ntsc games on a pal ps2 in colour without an ntsc/pal tv set or do you also need the tv? I read that swap magic can change the colur settings, does anybody know or has anybody tried this?

Im not too sure but what ive heard is that swap magic will change the colour settings.

the swap magic cd it does change the color, the dvd doesnt

Thanks for info. I was wondering if the NTSC to PAL patch tool works for almost every game? Anybody know?
