No, the HD has to be connected to the Ps2 via Network Adapter.
You will need HDLoader to Install and play games from the HD.

Thanks for reply,

Umm, maybe let me make it a little bit more clear. So, if I wire up my PS2 network adapter to my internet router, then wire the router to my PC. With this setting, can I install and play games from the HD in my PC? (I have the HD Loader). If not, do you mean I MUST connect a HD directly to the Network Adapter?

The HardDrive must be in the PS2.
You CANT stream the game from PC to PS2 if thats what your asking.
