I am VERY new to this type of thing, and have no knowledge in computers. But, id like to get a larger harddrive xbox. Since i have no tools or idea how to do it myself, im given two options. Buy one complete or pay someone to do it for me. My question to you all is,, "which is my better route?" I have a source ,where i can get a used xbox that has been "softmoded" (no mod chip) and has an 80GB hdd and games with it for around $250. OR i know someone willing to do it for me,,i provide a used xbox =$120, a 120GB harddrive =$40 and a mod chip =$60(?) and his labor charge= $?? (he doesnt know what to charge me)

here are my questions,,#1. what would be a fair price to charge labor for a modchip and hdd install?
#2 which route seems like the better deal (if either),,and why?

once again i am VERY new to this,,so please try not to go over my head,,,,any and all help is appreceated ,THANX
