Disc ID Utility Error Problems on Chipped PS2

Hey guys, this is driving me nuts. I've got my slim ps2 chipped with a DMS 4 Lite. Everything works great, the chip has had no problems what so ever. Anyway i load the Disc Id Utility, it loads fine, i swap the disk with an original, hit X and no disc Id's come up.

The screen just refreshes for a second, and still just says Error. I even tried burning the dvd version and loading that just to see if that was the problem. Still no luck. I cant figure this out !? Any help appreciated please.

I have the same problem,mines a slim chipped with matrix,would appreciate any help.

Yeah i have the same trouble with the infinity. From what I gather the only way to get the id's is to disable the matrix and then use swap magic to boot the disk id utility. You can't get disc id's with the modchip enabled. If anyone else knows an easier way please post it.
