burn error - something about winaspi32.dll (log included)

ive got a lite-on LDW-401S in an external enclosure from bytecc. has worked beautifully until about a day or two ago. the only thing i had done in between these attempted burns and the last successful burns was installed an external 160GB hard drive that i bought internal and converted to external with enclosure. its been giving me a couple problems that ive not figured out yet so i keep it unplugged. then the burner stopped working (dont know if this had anything to do with it). i upgraded firmware and still getting same burning error about 1 or 2 minutes into burning phase of DVD shrink (well, its nero interface anyway). here is log:

not a bump. just some more info. i downloaded another copy of wnaspi32.dll from nero's website and the burn didnt stop within a minute or two this time, it actually went to about 50% and then gave a similar error log that i still dont really understand. thanks in advance for any help provided :) log:

Have you tried to uninstall the Copystar Fantom emulator and then try burn a disc
