i just booted up slayers and i had to ulock my hdd to do it. Dont i need it locked to go on xbox live and if i do then how do i do it. i know that i need to load up the original bios and have the chip turned off. thanks

You can't "turn" it off unless your mod chip came with a switch, or if you softmodded it with Itools. If you softmodded it, you can access Itools and do a C-Restore and play live, and reinstall when you're done :)
