I create this post just to share info between us - The Dawners, I do not mean to bash anybody nor any company.

After read some post on the other forum http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=112854&page=3&pp=25 and they mention about fake Taiyo Yuden . After go through that forum here is my summarize:
- if the price is low then that is a fake TY.
- if not have "Made-in Japan" then it fake.
Is that true ?????
My summarize is right/wrong ???????

Please post all:
- what you found-out on the fake TY dvd.
- your experience with the fake TY dvd.
- your opinion on fake TY dvd
- .....................
- and whatever you want to post. :-)

Regarding the "made in Japan" thing, DigiTimes had a report recently stating that Taiyo Yuden is considering forming a strategic relationship with some of the Taiwanese makers. Here's a link to it (Google cache, their own archive only has articles from the last week):

One case I just found out.

Sonic media, code TYG02, has been suspect a fake TY by some forums. Pioneer DVR105, burn OK but when play back there are block and freeze.
