Ive burned these files to a dvd using Nero 6 but when I put them in my stand alone dvd player it doesnt play I get an error message saying the disk is dirty(which it isnt). It s brand new Sony DVP-Ns501P. anyone have any idea what Im doing wrong thanks Dave

Did you burn just the VOB, IFO, BUP files or did you have them all in a VIDEO_TS folder?

Was the folder named VIDEO_TS exactly as I typed it?

Make/model burner? Firmware version?

Brand/type media used? Burn speed?

Has the new Sony been able to play any burned discs?

The discs you burned that won't play in the Sony - will they play in any other players?

Im have a Sony DRU 530A burner
Using memorex DVD-R disk
Burn speed is 4x
The Sony has played other burned disks

Hmmmmm. Have you tried using different media? it's possible the Sony doesn't like the Memorex.

What 's the manufacturer ID on the Memorex? DVD Identifier can tell you:
