i have a x-chip install with x-chip bios 1.3 now i am trying to install a new dash i made a iso file with xiso then i burn it with nero when i boot up my xbox it can not read the disc can someone help me

Xboxes are picky on which kind of media they like. Since your Xbox is not supposed to read other types of discs anyway, it's a bonus for it read anything else.

I suggest trying Ritek Ridata DVD-R or Verbatim Datalife Plus DVD-R

i use memorex dvd-r or -rw's in my philips drive with success.

try that.
