i am getting ready to buy this slide card swap magic combo of the net i need some information? Do I need to purchase a flip top cover for the ps2? and i also need to know which is the best program to back up ps2 games on dvd-r? please respond back asap anybody with info about it please let me know thanx!

1. get your email off this thread, spam idiots will target you.
2. you can use any of these combos: Swap magic/slide card, swap magic/no solder mod, or swap magic/flip top cover, which is the easiest to install and use.

Easiest is the slide card method. You just pop the front cover off of your PS2 disc tray. However, swap magic is a little more complicated sometimes, as some games need fixes to work with the swap magic discs...
www.swapmagic.com, that site will give you a list of what games need what.

I am having trouble with playing some of my games as well. I had no troubles with any of them until the last 4 out of 5 games wouldnt play. I have the version 2 disk, and I was wondering if the version 3 would play them. I have not changed media so that is not it, and burning methods are the same. I went to the link suggested above but the games I have trouble with are not on the site. A few games are Mortal Kombat Deception, NHL 2005, and Hot Shots Golf 4. PLEASE help me.

after hours of being severely pissed of with the swap magic i finally figured out what i was doing wrong after i would use the slide card i would either hit the eject button to make the tray slide back in but i figured out that after use u have to put the slide card back in and pull that peice back over to the left so now i am enjoying all the games i thought i burnt wrongi had success with Nero and dvd decryptor
