Okay, I am having the same exact problem. I use DVD Shrink and Nero 6.6.08. The movie shrinks nicely and then Nero writes the Lead-In and then I get this error message:

Here's the thing: I tried an alternate method and used DVD SHRINK to shrink the movie and save it to my hard disk. Next, I went manually into NERO BURNING ROM and created my own DVD-Video using the TOS files I'd just created with Shrink. It burned fine, on the same media I've been using. So it cannot very well be my media or burner or firmware, right? Seems to be an issue between Shrink and Nero? PLEASE HELP. I'm glad my burner still works but it's taking twice the time to shrink, then manually burn from Nero.

hi,

I've saved the files from DVD Shrink to my Hard Disk.

What steps have u followed to burn via Nero because I tried burning the files via Sonic "data DVD" and the files got burnt but apparently not in the DVD format for playing the dvd's on the dvd player.

Could you spell out the steps for me please.

cheers

After you burn using DVD Shrink, go into Nero BURNING ROM. Choose the DVD option called DVD-Video. Click NEW. You will see 4 columns. The third column will contain a list of items on your computer. Choose the location that you saved the files to (like, C:\My Documents or whatever you saved it to). When you see the folder, click it. The files in the folder will appear in the 4th column. Select them all and drag them into the RED VIDEO_TS folder that you see in the 2nd column. They should just fit on the DVD since you already shrunk them with DVD Shrink. Then just click the BURN button (the little CD icon with a flame on it). That should work. W/B with success or errors.
