dvd burner not recognizing media rw

My MSI dvd burner was working fine, then it sudenly wont recognize media.When I run any dvd burn program it says use valid media.I cleaned it with a brush cd, but other than thatno changes.It will read dvds and cds, just wont burn,any ideas.

If you have Nero, you can run "Get System Info" to see how the PC is recognizing the burner. If there's no problem, then try change the media, or run a full disk diagnostics.
