what program to use when burning ps2 dvd games

I have read many forums and many tell me diffrent things but i was never able to ask my own question so i signed up here.. al right i have alcohol 120% and another program named dvd-decryptor. which has been used with the best results.. also what dvd disk should i use i have some memorex dvd-r 4x...i just ordered the swap magic so i have burnt a couple copies of games to test out when it gets here
when i used alcohol i burned the image to the hd and then burned it to disk
on dvd decryptor i made an iso file and then burned it to disk hopefully i did this right because i have done some research on it if i did anything wrong please tell me thanx

Never had a problem backing up one of my games with Nero.

Yeh most dvd writing softwares will back them up as most are straight back ups.

alright thats great and everything but ok now i have received my swap magic and i used it properly but it doesn't read disk i guess...i get a pink border and it freezes up.....so i dont know what my problem is i ued both alcohol and dvd decryptor .....maybe the problem is my discs? they are memorex 4x dvd-r and i burned it at either 1x or 2x but it still doesn't work thanks for the people that replied maybe someone will be able to help me again

First the game, go to http://www.swapmagicfix.com
If your game is listed there then download the fix for your version of PS2.
At a long shot, it may be your media. Although keeping in mind, plenty of people have had success with no name brand media.

Although I understand that Xbox games cannot be recognised by a PC..?

Yeh i use Nero for ps2 and DVD Decrypter for burning xbox iso images they both work a treat.
