Couldn't find a forum specific to this question, so in here it goes. Is backing up PC games exactly the same as ps2 games (i.e. football manager 2005)

That can't be backed up, I tried it. I used alcohol120%, got a protection error. No chance with that. However when I say that, all of the Manager games from SI have required cracks or hacks for a burnt version to work, how they backed them up I do not know. I do know that it cannot be backed up.

Somebody must know a way to do it. There are to many clever folk knocking about in these forums for someone not to know a way to get it backed up. Anybody?????

a good place to start would be to get yourself a free program called a-ray scanner and find out what type of copy protection is in use on your disc
