Action Replay MAX for swap???

I have made the slide card for my ps2 but i need to know for the "swap" trick if you can use Action Replay MAX instead of Action Replay 2/GameShark 2/Swap Magic 3.3. Also what is the best software to make backups besides Alcohol 120%?

Action Replay Max is not suitable for use as a swap disc for purposes of playing backups as how it automatically ejects the tray prior to inserting the backup disc. You must use a disc that does not do this in order to use for backup booting purposes.
