Missing Audio after burn to DVD

Have avi file, audio throughout.
Used TMPGEnc to convert to mpg (my computer won't play this file).
TMPGEnc DVD author, then Nero to burn.

After the first 30 seconds the audio just stops on the DVD.
First time this ever happened to me. Any ideas?
