My dvd shrink was working fine but went to backup an img file to standard video_ts and audio_ts folder so that i can burn in nero but i now get an error message about 50% through encoding saying that there is not enough memory to complete operation. The only thing i can think i have chaged on my system is installing service pack 2. Are there any know issuses with it and sp2?

over 50 free gig of hdd space and running 1 gig of memory. Its almost as if the program is working too fast for the computer. It happens when i open up an img file in DVD Shrink and try and back it up to another folder as video_ts and audio_ts folders.

Is there another program out there that can burn img files. The only reason that i ask is that i used to just change the img file to iso then extract with winrar and burn with Nero, but the Nero complince test sometimes fails. Still able to burn but get some errors on the dvd playback

Why not just burn the img file with Nero? It's the same thing in one less step.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no joy unfortunately!

Is there a plugin for Nero as my version (the latest one) dont burn .img files.

Will give DVD Decrypter a try.

Your going to have to Update your Nero burning Rom. There are compatibility issues with SP 2. http://nero.com/us/27990.html.
You just need package 1 and 2.
