Hi guys, I have a V5 PS2 with a no solder mod chip and the swap magic discs. I am using Memorex DVD+Rs and burning with DVD Decrypter @ 2.4x.
After I boot R&C with the swap magic disc the screen just goes blank. Soul Calibur 2 just freezes at the loading screen. Any ideas?
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

DO A SEARCH NEXT TIME! you need cd loader.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero |

ya try the cdloader or dvdloader. I know r&c needs it. if you don't know what they are do a search. cd and dvdloader are the same thing just one needs to be burned on a dvd and the other cd.
1. you would insert swap magic
2. swap for cd or dvdloader
3. when it says press eject and reinsert swapmagic hit x
4. then when it says swap using fliptop or whatever method with the game disk.
5. it will now work!
it sounds like a lot but it acually isn't much

Try burning them on DVD-R Discs. DVD-R usually has less problems.

yeah sorry almost immediately after I posted I found a bunch of stuff for R&C and now it is working. Still don't know what to do about Soul Calibur 2 though.
What does it usually mean when it just freezes at the Swap Magic DVD Loading Screen?

Im using dvd loader, the CD loader didnt work for me. DVD loader worked for R&C but not SC2
