Can anyone answer what the no solder chip is actually for? Is it to beable to open and close the tray without a slide tool, or does it physically have something to do with reading a backup DVD? I'm having problems reading BACKUP DVD games with my swap magic, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't . I'm talking about the same game - it's a toss up wether it will load or not. Is it a chip or swap magic problem?
