The burned DVD-R can only be read from DVD writer, why??

I have burnt two DVD-R (about 2.4G content) with no problem. Then I burnt another two DVD-R discs (about 4.4G and 4.2G respectively). But the latter two discs can be only read from my DVD burner, not from my normal DVD-ROM. The directory structre can be read, but no files can be opend or copied. Why??
