Been trying to burn PS2 games that I get off the net. So far I've made 2 good ones, and about 20 bad ones. My son has burned the same games that I gave him in RAR format on his PC and they work.
I can copy a PS2 game from Blockbuster and it will work.
I can burn movie dvdr's off the net without any problems.
Running a Dell 2.4 ghz, 768 meg of ram, Lite-on SOHW832 dual layer burner.
Have tried Ritek 4x dvd-r, Ridata 8x dvd-r, and two other brands of dvdr's. Burnt at 2x, 4x and 8x.
Used Dvd decryptor 3.5.1.0, Nero 6.6, alcohol120 without any luck...
I've disconnected from the net, shut off the anti-virus program, and didn't do anything else while burning the last ones that didn't work.
To play the PS2 games, using a flip top cover and swapdisk which works fine on the games that my son has burned..
Almost all of the PS2 games I have burned will start up with Swap Magic and give me the blue border, but then nothing after that...
Any suggestions on what I might have set up wrong that would cause this?
thats because most games you download off the internet are dvd rips. swap magic cannot play cds over 632megs. you must buy breaker pro to play these games.
why don't u just keep renting at block buster, it seems like it takes less trouble but u can get more out of it. Imagine renting 1 game a day, u can burn 30 games a month. And if u finish 1 game a week, u can practically play for 30 weeks, or 7 months b4 u go out n renew ur game pass. What a wonderful idea.
