Hello. A few weeks ago, i used a JVC DVD Recorder/VCR Combo to convert a vhs tape to dvd. It played back fine on the said unit, but when i tried it on the computer, it said that the disc is unsupported. Nero can't read the disc through a windows files search. It comes up with no data. Yet, when i use nero to check the disc's contents by clicking on "disc info", it says there is info on the disc. I fiddled around with nero, and clicked on the "save tracks" button, and it gave me a list of 4 files. The first one says "Unsupported mode", and the 3 others say "data mode." Is there any way i can retrieve the data and play the said dvd on the computer? When i tried to save the data mode files, it gives me an extention of .nrg. Anyone know what that is? Is there a work around for this problem?

thanks

Rick
