i have downloaded colin mcrae rally 2005. It came in as a rar. file i extracted it and now the computer sees it as a rar file but it is a iso. Do you have the extract the iso. with some kind of program of can you burn the iso file as a image on a dvd with nero and put in in the xbox??

Yeah if you have winrar it's going to show as a rar file but it's really an iso. I would burn it with Nero, but if you want get an ISO extractor and look at the files.

I have got a file here that also came in a RAR

I extracted it and it then became a ISO file

But now I can't do anything with it

when I open it with isobuster it just comes up with nothing

what should I do?

extract it with Qwix because ISO buster is trying to extract an ISO that is in xbox format ( same extention just complied different) so use Qwix to extract it and it will be fine.

I find Xiso to be the easiest program to use when extracting iso files..

Here is what i do.

Extract the files till i get an iso, then open xiso and extract the files and save them..Then you can either ftp or burn the game onto a dvd to play on the xbox.

This procedure has worked for every game ive download..and thats alot.
