A Google search of Afterburn for 'upside down' reveals this info:

UPSIDE DOWN VIDEO:

1. WMP go to File > Properties
There you can view info about codecs and filters that are being used. One of them will haev an option to flip the picture.

2. The upside down problem is mainly because Nero is not really any good for encoding. Your best bet is to encode the file to MPEG first with TMPGenc or similar, then to burn it with nero at a max of around 8x.
3. Dont' download complete codec packs basically only need the following:
a) MP3 Codec (Radium)
b) AC3 Filter
c) MPEG2 Codec
d) FFDShow, Install ffdshow and you can select to rotate the image.
e) OGG-Vorbis, package (lots of good things with ogg, for sound).

4. Don't try to play back video with WMP, Install vlc media player aka Videolan. I t sholud now play.

6. If you are going to encode DivX or XviD then install those codecs individually. MPEG1/2 Encoding comes with whatever encoder you use.

All of the above are available for free over in the tools section. Get the fourcc changer also, it will help with XviD/DivX playback issues sometimes (it's an app, you don't install it, you modify an AVI with it).

7. Use TMPGenc or something to encode before you get to Nero.

8. Down load latest kazzalite codec pack .had same problem it works

9. I used the Ffdshow filter to flip the film upside down. Then i made sure it was playing upside down in real player or media player. Then burn it using nero.Apparently it`s a problem with nero, but not all movies play upside down i gather it `s how it`s been encoded.

10. Read This: http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=150504*****

11. Use AVICodec, or GSpot to identify what codec a movie needs to play (assuming it won't play) then install the K-Lite Codec pack and only the codecs you need.

12. The hard part is of course identifying what's installed:
This is for W2K. It works for XP if you take away all the M$ BS about hiding everything from you.
a) Start/settings/Control Panel/Sounds and MultiMedia

b) Click on the Hardware Tab (yeah I know)

c) Double click on Video Codecs then hit the properties tab. Looky there...your video codecs. Notice there is a Remove button.
