Have been using Nero 6, but suddenly any new game I try to backup won't load. PS2 still plays any other game I've done.

Tried DVD decrypter, and alcohol 120%, but no joy.

DVD Decrypter did do Silent hill 4, which loaded at first, but now won't.

Are there any settings I should know about? I really can't afford all these experiments!

Running XP pro (NTFS), using the same DVD-R that I always have (Ritek G05), with a liteon writer, burning at x1 speed

PS2 has a chip, (new last year - mesiah?) not using swap magic

Any help muchly appreciated.

Thanks

I would say that it could be bad media. I use rikek G04 media that I buy at www.supermediastore.com I never have coasters. you may want to clean your dvd burner drive itself. I copy ps2 games. I just bought a modded Xbox with XENIUM ICE do you know how to copy xbox games to dvd+-R?
