Hi I just read the faqs and I couldn't find an answer to this :

My friend was over and had a couple of ps2 games so I thought hmm maybe I can copy them on my hard disk and then burn them, but I DIDN"T USE DVD decryptor , just copied the files on the dvd to my HD. And I burned them into a new one with nero. NOW I KNOW THAT THAT WASN'T HOW I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO IT but...

Is there a way I could still use the files that I copied on my hard disk to make a backup ?! Should I make an Iso out of them ?

Hope this hasn't been answered before, THANKS A LOT !

P.s:I have a modchip, not Magic Swap.

DVDs are like Audio CDs...if you just copy the data over your gonna have a bunch of useless data. You need something to decrypt it into a useable form.

Well this is what happened to me too :

the only problem is that i dont have the disc any more all i have is the exact same files as where stored on the disc. How do i make an ISO file out of them

And then he said that :

"you could use cdvdgen but you need to know which order the file where on the disk.What game was it I might have it and can tell you the order"
