i used the same technique that worked for freedom fighters, metal gear solid 3, & gta san andreas.
but for some reason the ps2 dosnt recognize the gr2 copy.
burning @ x4,using spin-x dvd-r, dcrptr is the program.

thanx for the quick response Megadeth.
i'll be able to go through it thoroughly when im off work. At the risk of sounding naive, which i am at this stuff, i have absolutely no experience with patches. how would you apply it to gr2 through decprtr for a good backup?
again thnx

You need to get PPF-O-MATIC v3, and run it after you make an ISO. Point to the .PPF file in the patch.

TenMen,
same issue for me, using swapmagic 3.3 and slide card...

The fix on that site is for multiplayer, and for use with hdloader.

OK using Swap Magic 2, flip top, using Riteck Ridisc GO4 X4, burn them at X1 using Decrypter.

This works for me, hope this helps.

i will try that tonight...funny thing is, i recently backed up goldeneye rogue agent @ x4 and the video sequences are a lil bit choppy w/occasional audio drop out. so i reburned @ x2 and its worse!
fliptop,swapmagig 3.3,rip/dcrptr,burn/copy2dvd, dvd-r spinx or teon...
spinx are pretty good, able to backup: gta san andreas, mgs 3, freedom fighters
