This prob is driving me crazy!!!! I'm trying to use tmpgenc to convert an avi to dvd, while following the guide here http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm. I've already done one mpeg file that came out quite badly and without sound and i believe it's because i forgot to check the box that said do aud and vid as elementary streams (i think), so I tried again and clicked that box this time but then i realized the guide didn't mention picking an audio source, while it mentioned the vid source. So basically I had to quit the thing at 60% (knowing it takes like 1.5 days to encode anyway) because I was sure there was no sound coming in. Well I tried playing the incomplete .mp2 audio file and sure enough there was no sound!!! so then I decided maybe i'll try putting in that same .avi file for the audio stream as well as video, after all both are coming from it. But it gives me this message saying the file cannot open or is unsupported...and ONLY when i try inputting that file into audio, but not video (this is page 2 of the project wizard, btw). So then could anyone tell me how on earth I'm supposed to get sound AS WELL as video???
