The holder for the white disc thing in my flip tobroke so i play with the lid open and just put the white disc on when i play. if i put down the lid the disc doesnt spin. Will my ps2 get messed up by doing this

Sounds like it may be jamming your disc and stopping it from spinning, could burn out your motor if theres too much stress on it.
