I recently bought the PS2 game, san andreas and i want to back it up to be sure - in case of scratches - Do i just do a DVD copy or does it require ripping? I was just going to use nero's dvd copy - will that not work or what method should i use - Does this require that you use DVD decrypter?

It will work by just using Nero however i have found Nero to be inconsistent and it has produced many coasters, I would recommend using DVD Decrypter i used it to back up san Andreas and my back up works perfectly.

you can use Decrypter to burn the file first if you click mode then ISO-read to make a copy of the ISO to your hard drive then when this is complete, go mode ISO-Write and select the MDS file you just created, it will now burn the files.

if your chip is very old,it may not be compatible with DVD.
