problem recording 2 programs in sky+

recently i have started to get problems recording
when i select 2nd program to record it tells me it conflicts with the 1st program, and i must cancel 1st to record 2nd. any ideas?
i did update software on purchase of receiver, it worked fine until a few days ago.
i dont know if i must maybe update again?
