iam new here and hope someone will be able to help me.
iam trying to hook up my sons x box through a router here at home. It is a d-link DI-604 router with latest firware version which is x box compabitable. The xbox reads the ip address and all but still says unable to connect to xbox live. have tried to run it straight through the modem and still no luck says dns error, unplugged the modem for about 15 minutes same thing dns error. made sure to put the ip for the xbox into the dmz with the router , made sure to allow incomming and out going connections also. any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated ty

Nm i finally got it figured out my router was the problem
