A search on the web for DVD Backup Solutions will provide links to many bogus sites that are setup to RIP the money from your pockets. One of these sites is:

http://www.WizardryDVDCopier.com

This site touts all kinds of wonderful things it's product can do, including and not limited to coping PS2 games to a CD, without any other software, or devices.

The site actually delivers re-packaged FREEware, after charging your credit card $39.95. The FREEware consists of an outdated version of DVDShrink, and a copy of DVDDrypter, along with some incomplete instructions stolen from other sites.

Trying to get your money back is a real challenge. Although a phone number is available on the web site, it is forwarded to a mailbox that is constantly full, with a message that request you leave a number for the owner to return your call. Don't hold your breath waiting for a return call.

The company that processes credit cards for WizardCopy, another alias, is Capital Merchants Solutions, Inc. They claim they aren't associated with WizardryDVDCopier. They lie . . .

Below is the information required to contact these unscrupulous individuals:

Owner/Operator WizardryDVDCopier.com:

Christopher Lane
2812 Pine Circle Drive
Pearl, MS 39208-5734
601-939-4618
wizardcopy@yahoo.com

Owner/Operator Capital Merchant Solutions, Inc.

Chris Nelson
211 Landmark Drive, Suite D4
Normal, Illinois 61761
877-495-2419
309-452-5990
dayal@capital-merchant.com

This is one of many sites who's sole purpose is to seperate unsuspecting buyers from thier hard earned money.

Getting your money back will require patience and the willingness to go the distance.

Report these incidents to the agencies responsible for investigating the fraud. Start with your credit card company. Include the Better Business Bureau, the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (https://www.ifccfbi.gov), and the local athorities in the communities in which these rogues work. In this particular case, it would be the Fraud Division of the local police in Pearl, MS and Normal, Illinois.

Bottom Line: Buyer Beware!!!

i should make a blacklist of all the websites that offer these types of programs and post them somewhere so more people can be warned. so if you know of any othr sites that you know are just like the one that ripped you off, list them.
