Burn DVD to send to friends in England

I have a headache and will try to keep this short.

I have a new DVD burner that I have no problems using BUT I went to England recently and have made an extremely cool movie of our trip to send to our friends over there. I understand that coding could be a problem. I have tried to find information on line regarding this issue and have only come up with the fact that England Dvds have a different compatibility code. So.....any ideas.

I am using:

- Pinnacle 9 software (rendering is HELL any ideas on improving speed?)

-Maxtor One Touch 2, 250 GB external Hardrive

- Plextor PX-716UF Burner

- Recently upgraded to 2 512 Ram on my P4 pc.

Not sure if you needed any of the above information but thought I would throw it in just in case.

Compuserve employee told me to try and find blank DVDs that are made for England. Is this what I need to do? I know I can change the code in my Plextor only 5 times? So does this mean after burning using UK codes 5X I can never send DVD's to my friends?

Please help. Would love to send DVD in the next couple of weeks. Feel free to post or email me. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Jchance,

It would appear that your compuserve employee doesn't know anything at all about media.

Pple in England can play NTFS or PAL format. A disc is a disc. As far as a region code goes, set your backup program for region free. Your burner need never be touched.
