ive downloaded the free version but after the month the trial version dosent allow me to encode files etc.it says expired .how do i get free software to work all the time cheers

For dvdr ripping i use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter both of which are free all the time and are available on this site click on software and they both will be listed on the right hand side, i never have to use any other software with these two and i have over 400 movies backedup now. Hope this helps.

MPEG-1 encoding is free forever. MPEG-2 encoding isn't free after the 30 day trial. If you want to keep encoding MPEG-2 files with TMPGEnc you have to buy a license.
