I am trying to rio Aladdin using DVD Shrink in the first stage ( Analysing stage ) and in the same percentage 51% I am recieving this error messege:
( Encountedan error and cannot continue Fail to read file
Data error(cyclic redundancy check).)

This messege is killing me.

Now in analysing stage before it was during ripping process.
I reboot and start again still same thing .

Can any one explaine or this movie is far beyond DVD Shrink capabilities

crc usually means a dirty or scratched disc. Are you using the original dvd?

You try ripping with DVD Decrypter.

The error you are getting is usually due to a damaged or scratched disk--Try using DVD Decryptor first to rip the movie and then use Shrink as you normally would--this method worked for me

Cyclitic redundancy Check, mostly called crc error means your disc is defective. Here is the causes.

Scratched
Dirty
Bum disc (you can get these right out of the package this way)

Possible cures:

Clean it with lint-free cloth and eye glass cleaner.

buy a kit to repair it or send it to a video store to try to fix it.

Take it back for an exchange

Try ripping with DVD Decrypter, set on brute force and ignore all read errors.

Explanation of crc: There is a bad spot on that disc, DVD Shrink can't get through that spot, therefore it keeps cycling, trying to get past that spot, then errors out.DVD Shrink needs every bit of data to encode the disc.Sometimes you can get through the initial analyzing, but the encoding will catch that bad spot.

Try cleaning it,May be finger prints,if still erroring out,go for a replacement where you bought it if possible or rent it.I haven't had any luck with DVD Decrypter in those settings but you might.

Good Luck
