I'd say since GTA SA isnt a DVD9 dont worry about it. Its been my impreesion that DVD9s are mostly not worth it to try and back up. A few you can RIP to 2 DVD5s but even that can be time consuming. Dont worry about backing it up, if it breaks just buy another one. Xenosaga and Champions of Norrath are my only DVD9s, also my only games that I dont have backups of. I backed up everything else and mostly use the back ups.
