Can you just remove the garbage files then burn using decryptor?

ok...heres what i did...
I used DVD Decryptor to make an ISO Image (iso read).
Then I created a new folder for the files i'll be making.
Next I Used ISOBUSTER to extract the files (Do not extract the garbage files). Make sure you note the order of the files as you will need this later. If you just delete the garbage files it wont work because the game looks for these files in order to load, so what you want to do is replace the garbage files.
Using windows notepad I opened a new file, hit space bar once and saved it as the garbage file (use exactly the same name as the file you are replacing). So you should end up making 5 garbage files(garbage 1,2,3,4 & 7 - I think). Make sure you save these files in the new folder you created.
Now narrow the window so that all you see is 1 line of files going vertically. Make sure these files are in the same order as they were when you first used ISOBUSTER. Now open your CDVD Gen program and click and drag all the files (in order) to the left portion of dvd gen. Create your star files and use MS DOS to create an Iso Image combining all of these files.
Finally use DVD Decryptor to burn the ISO onto your media and HOLY CRAP!!! IT WORKS!!!
I know it sounds crazy but this method also works to cut those dual layer discs down to fit a single 4.7 GB disc so it may come in handy again.
For More details on the ISOBUSTER and CDVD GEN method check this out: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/127255

I hope this helps. I know what it feels like to be frustrated trying to back-up a game and getting coaster after coaster....By the way...wanna buy some coasters? :)

there are no garbage files. You create them yourself using notepad. Just open a blank file in notepad, press the spacebar once and save it as the exact name of the garbage file (garbage2, etc.).

I got CD/DVD Gen, but whenever I try making the image it says, "ASPI Manager Loading Failed."
Then, it goes and makes some 60kb file, and I don't think that's right. Does anyone know where I can get a different copy of the program?

I read in the manual and it said that message occurs when you don't have a certain dll file, wnaspi32.dll, but I checked and I have that.

Then you are missing file ?WNASPI32.DLL? in your windows system folder. It might be on your PC somewhere else. If so, just COPY it to your windows system folder (do not CUT and PASTE).
If not, download it (from the nero website, I think)and put it in your windows system folder. This is usually ?C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM? depending on your operating system. If the file is there, then close and restart CDVDGEN and reload your .ccz project and hit the Record button again (thank god you saved your .ccz project, right?)
After this, you shouldn?t see the ?ASPI Manager loading failed.? error again

I'm well aware of that, but what i dont understand is how u can create your own carbage files and replace them with the ones that came with the original game. I used this method to backup sonic heroes, the only difference is that, i got a dummy file for that game from swapmagicfix.com. so i was wondering when you do create the garbage file you replace it with the dummy files in the game or what?
