Help!! I have had problems recently, all the copies I make now hve speckles, I have turned everything else I can off but still have the problem. I was using Media track -R, shitaro -R, and Sony -R. Any tips?
Hello, i have been using Nero 6, one lcick dvd, clone DVD Shrink, dycrypter,power dvd/ this is a new problem as recently they have all been fine.

Here's a test you can do to see if it's your dvd copies that are bad or your player that's having a problem: Play a dvd and watch for these "speckles" and make a note of where/ what chapter/ part of the movie you noticed them. Stop the movie and play it again from the start and forward to where you noticed the "speckles" the first time. If they show up in the same place again the problem is on the dvd. If you notice that they are not but show up elsewhere the problem is more likely a dirty lens.
I take it you have not changed anything (hardware or software) prior to the problem. Have you tried to play the originals and copies on other pcs or DVD players?
I'm still not sure whether you have tried to play the copies on different pcs and standalones. But if you already had, then maybe it's time to check the integrity of your burner.
I have tried and the speckles are in the same place.

Ihave also just recieved a copy of DVD Xpress, sometimes it pens and other times I just get the splash screen and nothing else, task manager says its running but it doesnt come up???

Has anyone had a problem with a program you open but doesnt come up? I have installed, uninstalled and re installed but stillhave same trouble. DVDXpress is the program.
