Quote: By now most everyone knows the problems of late with RE2 and LBB have been due to Sony's new unreadable sector encryption. Most of the top line decrypters have been updated. DVD Decrypter, and AnyDVD are just a couple that will rip these movies now. Just make sure the latest version are in use.
Imagine that. With DVD Decrypter I've noticed it gives all the little indicators and at the end warns "can not patch ...", if one simply enters OK and allows Decrypter to finish, the ripped files work for encoding.

If you put the files in Re-author in Shrink, that means Shrink did the initial analysis successfully. Normally what Shrink can analyze, it can encode to burn. Did you try backing up the entire file, or did you just edit first?

DVD shrink would not analize little black book or resident evil 2 until I removed copy guard with super dvd copy 2.Do you know any easier way to back up these movies using DVD Shrink alone?

Running the latest version of AnyDVD in the background while using DVD Shrink solves the encryption problems for me. I've done LBB, RE2 and others without a problem.

Glad to hear it. I even let AnyDVD run when I rip with DVD Decrypter. I've got RAM to spare, so why not? With these 2 rippers I've had excellent luck. AnyDVD updates faster than most software. With this new Sony unreadable sector encryption, they had the problem solved before any others I know of. DVD Region Free I hear finally got it, but they were about one of the last.
