Hi, I'm new to this forum and am also new to DVD writing.

My problem is that when I encode a dvd and burn to a dvd. I can't read the files from the dvd that i have burned to. This also happens to Avi home movies that I burn. I can watch them on my dvd player but I cant read the files to edit them. I have followed the guides and used various software with the same results.

Any help would be greatfully recieved.

Windows sp1a/sp2
Nero burning rom
Liton dvd writer
