i just got a nec dual layer 16x dvd+/- r/rw usb 2 external burner....i plan to make a straight copy from a dvd lets say finding nemo ..using dvd decrypter ...what brand and type of disc should i use??

Use this as a basic guide http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm It's a little out of date but still pretty accurate. Stay away from memorex and retail store brand name (staples, office depot, etc.) media. For vidio reproduction you need good quality proven media with an even azo dye layor. It's recommended you keep the burn speeds to 4x and under with a few exceptions.
