Hey everyone, I am new to burning games as I just got a chip. I just downloaded Nero and I need help on burning a game. I have created an ISO and have done everything up to burning the game. I downloaded version 6 (Nero 6). Can someone please show the steps on how to burn. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1. open nero
2. in the top tool bar click "recorder"
3. Now click "Burn Image"
4. Select the iso image you created earlier
5. You may next have to select DVD iso (only if CD iso is listed)
6. Do not alter any of the tab settings with the exception of burning speed. Set the speed as low as possible for a better burn.
&. Please let me know how you make out. Hope this helps.

Hey Peachman, thanks for the info. Unfortunately though, I just downloaded the trial version and it says my trial has expired. The same thing happened with Alcohol 120%. I don't have the money to buy either of them so what can I do? Is there any way I can get them for free? If you know please post. Thanks.

You can do a compressed file search on filetopia. While you're at it, look for FlashFXP Final also.

You never overburn anything (unless it's like maybe 4.9-5 gb, it may work and it may not). Overburning too much can cause the game to mess up, leaving you with a messed up dvd-r.
For the majority of games, xbox live files (update.xbe, downloader.xbe, dashupdate.xbe) make them over 4.7 gb. Try deleting these files. If it's still too big, then then there is always double layer dvdr.

Hey quadratic. I did not intentionally want to overburn this Xbox backup. I got it off of newsgroups and its a hair over 4.7 gig (4.715 to be exact). How can i overburn this ISO to DVD using Nero or another proggie?

rgt, you don't need dashupdate.xbe and update.xbe and you most definately need the default.xbe.
It's the executable for the game.

Flashfxp is an ftp program that allows you to connect and transfer files from and to your xbox and pc.
other burning programs= DVD decrypter , Easy Media Creator 7 , CopytoDVD , DVD Santa , etc.
