Chapter Not playing in dvd player?

I have a sony DVP-NS300 player.
im am trying to backup my dvd collection.

Am experimenting with different media.
At first i kept getting Disk is dirty errors.
So i switched media,Right now im using Memorex DVD+RW 4x
When i burn my disk and put it in my player i press play and all it says is the titles (For example 18.)

i press play again i can hear the disk spinning up but them slowing down and going abck to the "titles 18" display.

Its like it didnt burn the chapters?
i use cloneDVD to copy the dvd disk into an image iso, then i use nero to copy the iso to the dvd disk.

what can be causing this?
