Its not, thats why there is a SwapMagic DVD. The only thing you could try is to boot up with the SM CD, put the SM DVD in and load it, then put in your DVD game. Its worth a try.

Try adjusting the laser. different DVD react differently than others.

the Swap Magic DVD has a different reflectivity from normal games, so adjusting the white cog(gear) in your PS2, you should be able to make it run
