Burning an avi. video file off my hard drive. Using NVE 3. Started w/"Make DVD", "DVD-Video", and then "Default Video Options" and clicked "DVD-Video". Set QUALITY setting to "Standard play" and then went about adding my video file. I now have the following message:

Your project contains more PAL than NTSC material, but will be encoded in NTSC if you use the current settings. Do you want to change the settings to PAL, so that your project will be encoded in the video mode that matches the majority of the project's contents?

Do I want YES or NO? Click NO it changes from "Burn to Recorder" the project to "Write to Directory". What's that about?

AND it says:

Your project currently exceeds the capacity of a normal DVD, but still fits onto a DVD-9 disc. You need a DVD-9 media to record your project on.

Two confusing questions from that:

1)Using a FujiFilm DVD+R 4.7 GB/120 min disc. Is this not acceptable?

2) the progress bar at the bottom of the screen is NOT exceeding the 4.0 GB cut-off marker (staying the color green). How is it going over?
