I've been using Princo white tops for awhile, but I want to try some good brands since they're on sale this week. I checked www.nomorecoasters.com
so I got the Maxell 15 pack DVD-r listed below to cheaply test out. The disc code is "MXL RG02".
I will use them to back-up my ps2 games (Vers. 4 ps2) and movie dvd's.

Which are the better deals/brand to get? I'm guessing the Maxell's or TDK.
Staples has the Maxell's on sale for $5.94/15 pack. TDK's are $19.99/50pack @ Compusa. Sony's 50 packs are also $19.99 but at Best Buy.

Sorry if I posted in the wrong section.

Isn't todays technology great?

I only use TDK's and haven't had 1 problem with back ups. I also have a v4 PS2. I just bought the TDK's from CrapUSA yesterday. I say go for the TDK's.

The "MXL RG02" are considered 1st class media. So you should have no problems with the Maxell's.

I have a v7 ps2 and bought a 25pk of 4X DVD+r TDK media, 4 successful back-ups not one coaster. also I tried 4X DVD+R memorex media also no problems at all. but remember different versions of ps2's like different types of media.
