Hi,

Can somebody please help me in solving the audio problem?

When I play DVDs with Dolby digital encoding, I lose audio intermittently. I have a coaxial cable connected between the Yamada 6600 and Marantz 5300 AV receiver. To recover from the problem either I have to mute and un-mute on AV receiver or pause and play in the DVD player.

To me it sounds like that AV receiver is loosing sync and hence needs a reset to recognise the signal again. This problem occurs only if I have SPDIF selected as ?RAW? as output from the DVD player. There is no problem if I select PCM output, but that only gives stereo.

Could somebody please suggest a solution? I have got a replacement DVD player with the same model, but that also has the same issue. My previous DVD player used to work fine.

Thanks
Chandra
