What do I do with the remote control screen when it comes up?

If I understand your question correctly... when you see the "remote control screen" come up, it is giving you an opportunity to simulate your authored DVD prior to burning.

You get to check that the menu looks you expect, and you can click on the remote control buttons to launch chapters, navigate the menu(s) etc.

If (like me) you spot a typing error, or want to change the design/layout etc - then click on the [Back] button and make the changes.

When you are happy with the simulation, click on the [Next] button - and burn away!
